Cyber security has become a crucial aspect of protecting systems and data from malware, viruses, and cyber threats. It offers various advantages like privacy, anti-virus programs, anti-spam options, and protection against adware, resulting in enhanced system performance. However, it also has some disadvantages, such as high cost, difficulty in configuration, and system slow down. This article explores the advantages and disadvantages of cyber security to provide a comprehensive understanding of its impact on computer systems

Advantages

• It is known that it mainly provides protection against malware, virus attacks, spyware, etc. These attacks have been a serious issue for the system and for the data and information stored inside the systems.

•  In the cooperate world cyber security have been doing a major role by protecting the system from damaging or loosing data and also data and information theft. Cyber Security provides anti-virus programs, passwords options, encrypted messages and anti-spam options to avoid these above issues.

•  Cyber provides more privacy to users.  It allows users to store your data and information anywhere users want without having any doubt on it.

•  Another main advantage of Cyber Security is preventing system from adware. Adware is a virus that has ability to create and spam unwanted pictures and messages in personal or official computers. Because of these all advantages, the amount of the junk stored in the computer is reduced. 

• It helps to reduce your computer slow down and freezing. It boosts the performances of the computer systems. As these all advantages above it is highly recommended to use Cyber Security to protect your data and resources as well as your company’s reputation.  

Disadvantages

• Rules of the firewall can be being difficult to configure correctly.

• Incorrect firewalls rules and configured firewalls may block users from performing certain actions on the Internet, until the firewall configured correctly block the user from accessing various services of the network.

• Makes the system week and slower than before. Sometime too much security can be a trouble.

•  Need to stay change the new software package. So every time need to stay security up to date.

• The cost of cyber security is quite high could be costly for average user.

With the improvement of Cyber Security some disadvantages also arise. 

• Improved hackers speed and ability.

• Set of wide interconnected computers.

• Improved and modified viruses, worms and malwares.

• The relation between hackers will increase.

• Increase in cyber-war possibly.
